Private Hosted Cycling Journey
7 days · 6 nights · Girona and Besalú. A private estate, a former professional cyclist as your guide, and a boat at the end of the road.
- Length
- 7 days, 6 nights
- Group
- Private group of 6 to 8 riders
- Base
- Private estate near Besalú
- Riding
- Guided rides, 30 to 120 km
A hosted week of road riding for six to eight riders. Based at a private Catalan estate near Besalú, with guided rides from an easy arrival spin to a 120 km mountain day, a support vehicle, recovery built in, and a ride to the Mediterranean that finishes on a private boat.
This is not a training camp. Cycling stays at the heart of the week, with proper recovery, good food and the comfort of a private house around it. It is designed for amateur cyclists and triathletes who love riding but do not want the pressure of a performance programme.
Every ride is led by a former professional cyclist and performance coach who knows the roads of Girona and the Costa Brava from the inside. A support vehicle and driver follow the group, bikes are looked after, and your things are carried for you, so the group only has to ride.
- Six nights at a private estate reserved for your group, with a private chef
- Guided rides through Girona, the Empordà and the Alta Garrotxa, including a 120 km, 2,100 m mountain day
- On day six, a ride to the Mediterranean, a private chef lunch, a swim and a private boat, with a transfer back

Join the waitlist for the Private Hosted Cycling Journey
These retreats are small by design, and each one is priced for the group that wants it. Tell us who would be travelling and roughly when, and we will come back personally with dates and a price for your group as soon as they are confirmed.
There is no obligation, and nothing is booked until you have accepted a final proposal.
What to consider
What kind of rider is it for?
Amateur cyclists and triathletes who enjoy good riding without the pressure of a performance-focused training camp. The rides range from an easy 30 km arrival spin to a 120 km mountain day, and there is a recovery day in the middle of the week.
Do we need to bring our own bikes?
The programme includes help with bike assembly and basic mechanical support. Premium bike hire can be added as an extra, quoted for your dates and group.
How many riders can come?
Six to eight riders. The whole estate is reserved for your group, which is why the journey is built for a small, private group.
Can the programme be changed for our group?
Yes. Each retreat is a starting point. We can add or remove days, change the routes, simplify the programme or add private extras, and we will price what you actually want.
Are these retreats open to individual travellers?
They are built for private groups: clubs, friendship groups, communities and corporate teams. Tell us who is travelling and we will say whether the programme fits or what would work better.
What does joining the waitlist involve?
Places are deliberately small in number. The waitlist is a no-obligation way to hear about dates and prices first and to tell us what you would want from the trip. Nothing is booked until you have accepted a final proposal.
How is the price worked out?
Per person, from your group size, dates, room set-up and the extras you choose. Prices are confirmed with our partner before we quote them, so we will not give you a figure we cannot stand behind.
Are flights included?
No. Flights are not part of any of these retreats. We can look at flights alongside the programme if you would like us to.
Smaller groups are priced higher, and other group sizes are priced individually. Flights, travel and cycling insurance are not included. All programmes are indicative until availability and rates are confirmed for your group.
