What we look for in a luxury wellness host

We've stayed in hundreds of retreats. We've met thousands of hosts. And we've learned that the quality of the host is the single biggest predictor of retreat quality.

Depth of Training

Minimum 500-hour certification. Preferably 1,000+ hours. Additional training in trauma, somatics, or therapeutic modalities. We verify every credential.

Years in Practice

We prioritise hosts with 10+ years of teaching experience. There is no substitute for time in the field.

Specialisation

The best hosts are not generalists. They have a lane — whether that's burnout recovery, women's circles, biohacking, or somatic trauma — and they stay in it.

Ethical Business

Fair wages, sustainable operations, transparent pricing, inclusive practices. We ask hard questions.

Guest Feedback

We read every review. We look for patterns. We speak to alumni.

When a host meets all these criteria, we award them Cherished Featured Host status. It's our highest honour.
